When you purchase Gold, you own it and have legal title to it, with The SwapGram acting as a trader and intermediary, and our partner – Freeport Secure Vault as a custodian, meaning that none of us don’t have any direct claim on the gold you have purchased. For your piece of mind, SwapGram guarantees: a) That you own and have full legal title to every ounce of gold on your Gold account (e-Gold); b) Every ounce of gold shown on your Gold account is backed up by an ounce of fine gold in the freeport secure vault; c) Your gold is stored securely in the vault, which is reconciled and accounted for each day; d) The product remains within the custody and security of the Vault at all times, protected by trained security staff and is fully insured; e) SwapGram always holds more gold in the Vault than is held by our customers

Yes, you can sell your gold 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year on swapgram.com, keeping you firmly in control of your assets. Please note that SwapGram will offer to buy your Gold back at the live metal spot price minus a 2.5% fee. There is no VAT liability on the sale of goods by non-VAT registered individuals.

Yes, all of the precious metals that you own in your account are backed by real, investment-approved precious metal bars, which are safely stored in a freeport storage facility. The Vault. At SwapGram we take financial security very seriously, but customer payments do not typically require any additional ID to be provided. As per our insurance requirements, however, we may contact you to confirm some additional security details if there is ever any misunderstanding. If ID is required a member of the compliance team will be in touch once the order has been placed to confirm what is needed. We accept online payments with credit cards up to the value of £5,000 and debit cards up to the value of £30,000. Please note that this limit may change at our discretion. SwapGram is not accepting cash payments at our trade counters or offices. Tightening regulations in compliance with HM Revenues & Customs anti-money-laundering guidelines, as well as a cultural decline in the number of customers spending physical cash, has led us to this decision. The global spot price for gold is based on inter-bank transfers of large numbers of London Good Delivery Bars which are 12.5 kilograms each. This price is only available to large banks and does not include any brokerage fees, transportation, storage or insurance. Smaller bars are always sold at a premium to the London spot price to reflect the additional costs of producing and testing smaller bars. Our premiums are extremely competitive and are lowest on our larger bars.
